Corrections to the 2008 reports
In$ite General Education Expenditures - State Report
Birchwood and Edward Ricci Middle Schools were omitted from the Middle School report in the Information Works! 2008 book. Also, the Middle School state total was reported as $6747. The correct figure is $6730. These errors were corrected on the Web site on May 27th, 2008.
Using Information - School Reports
Because of a data error, the percentages reported in the pie chart on “Students receiving ESL / bilingual education services" for Central High School and Scituate High School was incorrect. The Web site was corrected on July 23rd, 2008.
Providence Schools with Annexes
Because data for students attending school in the “annexes” were not incorporated into school-level data, some information in the on-line reports on four Providence elementary schools was incorrect. These schools are the:
- Alfred Lima, Sr., Elementary School & Annex
- Asa Messer Elementary School & Annex
- Charles Fortes Academy & Annex
- Laurel Hill Avenue School & Annex
The data on the school reports for these four schools as well as on two state reports (Engaging Families and Community, Incidents of Suspensions) were corrected on August 8, 2008.
