Additional District Indicators

SALT Survey teacher response rate: The percentage of the total number of eligible teachers in this district who responded to the 2005 SALT Survey

SALT Survey student response rate: The percentage of the total number of students in this district who responded to the 2005 SALT Survey

SALT Survey parent response rate: The percentage of students in the district whose parents responded to the 2005 SALT Survey.

Dropout Rate: The percentage of students in the district who dropped out of the 2005 graduating class from the time that class entered the high school

Stability: This indicators shows the proportion of the students in the district who stayed in their school throughout the school year.

Mobility: This indicator shows the proportion of students in the district who moved into or out of a school during the school year.

Note that these indicators show the aggregate stability and mobility rates for all of the schools in the district. Each student who enters or leaves a school within the district is counted as part of these rates, even if the student transfers to another school within the district.

Rate of Suspension: the number of students in the district who have been temporarily dismissed from school, received an in-school suspension or sent to an alternative placement, reported as a percentage of the number of students in the district
