What you are looking at

These tables present teacher responses from the annual SALT Survey. They show the teachers’ responses, by school, to several questions about the extent to which they feel supported in their work by their colleagues and by their school leaders. The tables are ranked by the participation rate – the percentage of teachers in each school that participated in the survey.

What you are looking for

A high participation rate on the SALT Survey is a good indicator that teachers feel actively engaged in their work. You would like to see a participation rate at or near 100%.

You would be looking for relatively low numbers in the next two columns – percent of teachers in each school who find lack of planning time and lack of information to be a problem.

The three columns to the right should be relatively high numbers, as these columns indicate whether teachers in each school are satisfied with various aspects of their work.
